COM0COM Serial Port Setup – Clean Install

With the release of the VideoRay Cockpit software 2013, a new virtual serial port program called COM0COM was introduced to replace the ELTIMA serial ports.

Unlike the previous versions of VideoRay Cockpit the COM0COM installation is not located within the build. You will be required to perform a separate installation.

If the ELIMITA serial drivers are already installed on the computer there is no requirement to uninstall the program. (Check your computer’s device manager to determine before attempting the COM0COM installation).

Please note that the instructions below are for an installation on a new computer that has had no previous install of ELIMITA or COM0COM.

If any problems are encountered while installing the COM0COM setup, please contact VideoRay Technical Support at support@videoray.com or +1 610 -458-3000 Option #1.
